All claims received from 1 Jan­u­ary 2012 ser­vice dates are processed and paid on Med­ware platform.

Claims received between 1 Octo­ber and the 31 Decem­ber 2011 were processed on the San­lam Health’s new sys­tem and all of these had to be re-loaded on the Med­ware sys­tem, this has been done and they will start with the process to release pay­ments within the next two weeks.

Bestmed informed us that claims for Sep­tem­ber were not affected by sys­tem change.

Claims received in 2012 with 2011 ser­vice dates have been assessed and put on hold, these will soon be released for pay­ment towards month end.
